Business Process Mapping is one of our specialties and breaks complex tasks down into simpler and more understandable tasks. These tasks need to be performed in a certain order and conform to a certain set of rules in order for the process to have a successful outcome. These tasks are depicted in a graphical notation which is understandable yet comprehensive enough for the organization to have a holistic view of their core and supporting business processes. The graphical notation does not specify the specific implementation of the process but rather what is involved in the process. The people implicated in the process, as well as other stakeholders, can see a visual representation of what is done and where they perform their tasks. When a business process is clearly mapped the door for re-engineering is opened and stakeholders are more willing to discuss optimisation of the process.
